Estey Family Vineyards is located just a short drive from the Shenandoah Valley. We create the rich full-body flavors in every bottle by using old style wine making techniques.

Will Estey is very passionate about his property and it shows through his attention to detail in every glass of hand bottled wine. With help from the whole family our grapes are handpicked each season. Every bottle of our wine is filled with passion and history. Estey Family Vineyard also produces pomegranate jams and juice from their estate orchards.

This small family winery, operated by Milan and Victoria Matulich, produces classically big, rich Amador County wines. A long, winding road leads to its secluded old homestead, where visitors can picnic, savor the winery’s robust estate zinfandel, syrah, sangiovese and viognier, or just listen to the birds.

Dillian Wines is a small family winery specializing in zinfandel, barbera and syrah. Owner Tom Dillian has been growing high-quality grapes in Amador County for over 30 years. The winery tasting room is modeled after the home built by Tom’s grandfather in the early 1900s and sits on property owned by the Dillians since 1917. The Dillian family, its fine wines and its gracious hospitality remain Amador County trademarks. Groups of 7 or more and all limos and buses by appointment only.

The Deaver family’s winery and its B&B (Amador Harvest Inn, 209-245-5512), share the same lush landscape of expansive green lawns dotted with bright flowers. The winery tasting room features Deaver’s fine wines, picnic foods and other wine-related items. Tables overlooking a shimmering lake are available for picnicking.

The Cooper family’s passion for growing superior grapes reflects their belief that winemaking begins in the vineyard. The family’s grapegrowing acumen is manifested in their exciting portfolio of award-winning wines.

Convergence Vineyards is among the first stops on the Amador County wine route, conveniently located on Hwy 124, two miles off Hwy 16. Named for a location where three creeks (Amador, Rancheria, and Dry), converge, the winery offers unforgettable views, a great spot for picnicking, and fine wines including viognier, mourvedre, barbera, syrah, petite sirah, zinfandel and port.

The Spinetta family has farmed in Amador County since 1852. Its modern winery offers Amador wine enthusiasts a broad range of varietals, including barbera, chenin blanc, petite sirah, primitivo and zinfandel, as well as other rare, aged Amador County wines. The winery proudly showcases 450 framed pieces of art and sculpture in its spacious wildlife art gallery.
